2009 has already begun, and also for the group Cycling Diabetes & activities resume, after a strong and productive year 2008. Even this year many events will be held by the association that brings together cyclists with diabetes throughout Italy: among them stand out as always the formative stages and the Italian Championship, now in its fourth edition, but also much more. Unfortunately, there is the classic tour, always present in recent years, due to the already rich calendar of events: we will strive to develop so well for them! Participating in these events Cycling & Diabetes is a free and open to all: just read the program published at the bottom of this article and contact references. Please remember that all athletes and cyclists during the year may participate in other events outside of C & D program, pedaling through the streets and continuing to bring the message Changing Diabetes: This must come from the heart, the passion for cycling and sport, but more importantly to be a hymn to love for life, sending a positive message about diabetes.
Below follows a detailed program of activities for 2009 of C & D, as I was informed by the president-elect David Panichi. I myself have already made a first selection of events they attend, depending on my availability: among them, barring unforeseen circumstances, there will surely be the Italian Championship for Riders with Diabetes in July, along with several other marathon races and depending on the possibility ( Davide Cassani in March, St. Justin in June, Marathon of the Dolomites in July, World Diabetes Day in November ), But unfortunately not be able to participate in internships to study problems. These activities will be certainly an opportunity not only to compete, but also to meet old and new friends and improve my knowledge in the management of diabetes.
