Congratulations Sunt Diabetes! About a year ago had published the first article on this site ... And now, 12 months later we are still here, with so many things to say. Nearly 50 articles written, 7000 Total unique visitors, 13000 page views not bad to be started from scratch! Indeed, the project is going well beyond expectations.
The idea of the blog was created to have a tool with which to disseminate their experiences and share ideas about diabetes: all this has been useful to talk about this important issue. Over time the site has been improved and enhanced services. I received a lot of satisfaction, and I hope also for you who visit this helpful!
And for the future ... The ideas are many, there are several new articles in the draft to be completed and published, and several projects in the pipeline. In recent weeks the activities of the blog has been slowed down. The project is (obviously) still active, and these delays are due only to personal and technical setbacks. Last night was a goal achieved: at 2 months after its inauguration, the blog of Sunt Diabetes has passed the first 1000 visitors in total. At the time of writing are already 1100 visitors, pages viewed, far exceed the 3000, the spiders of search engines of 5000, and requests via RSS / Atom, nearly 500, while the comments left by visitors are about 40 . I think a good result, considering that it is not easy when a site from scratch.
Not only. The estimates are optimistic, since all data for October is up sharply compared to the September data: 65% for visitors, up 27% for page views, +66% for spiders, +123% for feeds . So we must hope for the future! The data refer to those provided by the plugin StatPress, and differ slightly from those reported by Google Analytics.
It would be nice to see in the world of blogs Italians a greater presence of the topic "diabetes" which happens to be deficient: but this is largely foreign to this! So, why not: everyone can do their part, just take courage, and start writing something.
