Welcome! The Diabetes Sunt blog was created to give voice to small businesses and individual opinions from the world of diabetes in a spontaneous way. Who has diabetes lives in daily contact with it, and therefore often have many things to say about: ideas, news, comments, experiences, emotions.
The main colors of the site, especially the blue, are those of the Unite for Diabetes campaign for the UN resolution of diabetes, obtained in 2006. This was a result of global importance for diabetes, and use the official colors of diabetes is a small way to give it more visibility. The symbol of diabetes is the blue circle, a symbol of union of forces, and it was agreed that each November 14 worldwide public attention should fall on diabetes: the World Diabetes Day. The background of the header of the site will summarize these meanings: the pin of the blue circle brought on behalf of diabetes, which is supported on the text of the resolution of the United Nations. This background will alternate with another image, that of a cyclist with diabetes, representing another important message of the site, that is what the sport. This is the spirit that animates this blog.
From a technical standpoint, this website has been online since August 25, 2008, and is based on Wordpress. Sunt Diabetes is a young project, which has yet to be finalized, and will need time before they are fully operational and defined. We apologize in advance for any problems or technical errors.
